Bangora straw hat has a 3-3/4 inch brim and is pre-shaped with attitude. The paint is put on in layers so the flaking and uneven coloration are by design. The inspiration was an old-west building where layers of paint peeled and older patches showed through.

There's a smooth patch in the crown that makes it soft on the top of the head.
