Our Handmade House, is the second book in our series Adventures in Life, Country Living, and Sustainability. Our Handmade House is about how we built our own home with our own hands. The difficulties and solutions we found that enabled us to do it ourselves. Along with examples of construction techniques that I used. Plus some side stories throughout the building process of things that had happened to us during construction. A sort of biographical journal of our lives during our construction of our home. All my life I always wanted to build my own house, and I mean actually build it myself. My hands on the tools putting together the blocks, and boards, and everything else. I love making things. As a creative person, I love the challenge of designing and building. I like to see a product go from my mind to reality and I like when I'm the one who gets to make that happen. There was a time not too long ago when many people built or expanded their own homes. I hope this book can be an inspiration to you. I hope that this book inspires everyone who reads it to try and do what they can to improve their own living situation, whether that means building your own house, remodeling a house, or putting on an addition.
